What the SaaS Metrics Analyzer measures, and why it matters
Software-as-a-service businesses live or die by a small set of recurring-revenue metrics, but those numbers only mean something in relation to each other and to a benchmark. This analyzer takes a single month of movement - how much recurring revenue you started with, what you added through new and expansion sales, and what you lost to contraction and churn - and turns it into a complete financial-performance report. It computes monthly recurring revenue (MRR), annual run-rate (ARR), net new MRR and your growth rate, then the retention picture: net revenue retention (NRR), gross revenue retention (GRR), gross MRR churn and customer (logo) churn.
From there it derives the unit economics that decide whether growth is worth paying for: average revenue per account (ARPA), lifetime value (LTV), customer acquisition cost (CAC), the all-important LTV:CAC ratio and CAC payback period, plus the quick ratio and the Rule of 40. Every figure is shown with the exact formula behind it and colour-coded against a benchmark, so you can see not just what your numbers are but whether they are healthy for a company at your stage. A target solver even tells you the specific change in churn, CAC or expansion needed to hit each benchmark.
Everything is computed in your browser from the figures you type - nothing is uploaded, and there is no account or sign-up. The result is a report you would normally build by hand in a spreadsheet, generated in seconds, with charts and a plain-English read you can hand to a co-founder, board member or investor. This is an analytical tool for planning and understanding your metrics, not financial, investment or accounting advice.
